Welcome to the AdArt Professional Clip Art Series.
The AdArt series is ready to use in the creation of advertisements,
maps, publications, packaging, labels, charts & graphs and with the
aid of a postscript drawing program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel
Draw, illustrations can be modified, reversed, scaled or colored. You
can even create your own symbols using the design elements we have
provided. The options you have with the AdArt Clip Art Series and your
drawing program are limitless.
All graphics are in the Encapsulated Postscript format to provide
superior reproduction quality with no loss of detail or sharpness when
resized. Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) is a graphic language that allows
images to be scaled and rotated while retaining an object's integrity.
Postscript also supports gray scales and color, and prints on a wide
variety of output devices, from 300 dpi laser printers, 2,400 dpi image
setters to vinyl sign plotters. The EPS format provides highest possible
reproduction quality with no loss of detail or sharpness when resized
unlike its traditional "camera-ready" or bit-mapped counterparts. A
great deal of time is spent to insure the correct representation of
every image we create. Each collection is saved in the Adobe
Illustrator1.1 format to insure compatibility with most page-layout and
illustration programs which accept EPS files (i.e. Adobe Pagemaker,
Quark Xpress, Microsoft Publisher, and Adobe Illustrator!) and is
available for the Macintosh and PC computer systems.
VINYL SIGN CUTTING
A majority of the collections available in the AdArt Series are
also compatible for vinyl sign cutting. These images differ from regular
clip art in that the images must be specially edited in outline format
for compatibility with standard vinyl sign cutting equipment and
software. Each image is saved in the Adobe Illustrator 1.1 format to
insure compatibility with most vinyl sign cutting software and
illustration programs which accept EPS files (I.e.Flexisign, Sign Lab,
Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator!) and is available for the Macintosh
and PC.
